Quality over quantity
We care more about original, thoughtful content than just filling slots.
If you have something genuinely useful or interesting to share, we’d love to have you as a speaker.
Sales pitches
It’s totally fine to highlight your product, framework, or service.
But straight-up sales pitches—especially reused ones—won’t make the cut.
Inclusivity
We welcome speakers from every background and experience level.
If you’d like to speak but need support or accommodations, let us know. We’ll do what we can to help.
Be nice!
We won’t publish anything offensive or disrespectful.
We’re here to learn, share, and have fun, let’s keep it that way.
CFP Description
Conf42 Observability 2026
First things first, please watch the CFP tips and tricks video - 5 minutes. It will increase your chances of having your talk accepted.
Let’s talk about understanding what’s really happening in our systems.
If you spend your days digging through logs, tweaking dashboards, tracing requests, or trying to make sense of metrics that never tell the full story, this event’s for you.
We’ll dig into what’s working (and what’s not) in the world of observability:
- Building better monitoring and alerting systems
- Logs, metrics, and traces — and how to actually use them together
- OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, and instrumentation strategies
- Designing dashboards that help instead of overwhelm
- Observability in Kubernetes and cloud-native environments
- Reducing noise, finding root causes, and improving incident response
- Real-world lessons from teams improving reliability through observability
Come hang out with engineers who live and breathe systems insight, share what you’ve learned, and pick up a few ideas to make your next outage shorter (and less painful).
For any questions and suggestions, please join our Discord server!
Hope to see you there,
