Vamsi Krishna Reddy Munnangi is a results-driven Senior Software Engineer with over 8 years of experience building enterprise-scale solutions for industry leaders like Walmart and Apple. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Walmart, Vamsi works on the Walmart Cloud Native Platform (WCNP), a Kubernetes-based system designed to securely and efficiently manage containerized workloads across various environments.
Prior to joining Walmart, Vamsi spent over 7 years at Apple, where he played a key role in developing mission-critical systems for AppleCare and Apple Pay. During his tenure at Apple, he led the design and development of revenue-generating systems serving over 500 million customers globally. His work on the AppleCare platform—which acts as the source of truth for all Apple products and parts data—supported a customer base spanning the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, and Australia regions.
As a technical leader, Vamsi has consistently demonstrated expertise in architecting fault-tolerant microservices, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and optimizing system performance. His work on Apple’s Payment Processing System significantly enhanced the efficiency and security of payment transactions, processing approximately 45 million requests daily.
Vamsi holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Central Missouri and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Koneru Lakshmaiah University. He is also the author of a published research paper on pre-detection of diseases through retinal diagnosis using digital image processing.
